|Hakim Mohammed Said had established the ‘Sham-e-Hamdard’, which became the most famous intellectual forum in Pakistan. It stood for national reconstruction ever since it commenced in 1961. Lectures on different topics were arranged every month in all the big cities of Pakistan viz. Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Peshawar under the banner of Sham-e-Hamdard.
In 1995 Hakim Mohammed Said converted ‘Sham-e-Hamdard’ into ‘Shura-e-Hamdard’ to provide an open platform to scholars for discussions and making suggestions to redress the problems facing by the nation.
