Description

Mucilage, alkaloids (trigonelliene, genlianine, carpaine), steroidal saponins (mainly diosgenin, togogenin, gitogenin, yamogenin, neotigogenin) flavonoids, fixed oil, protein, amino acids (lysine, tryptophan, leucine, histidins, arginine), lecithin, vitamins A, B, C, minerals (Calcium, Iron etc.). It yields by hydrolysis the sugars, mannose
and galactose.

Indictation

Hülbene possesses anti-inflammatory, expectorant and demulcent, emollients, diuretic, hypoglycemic, astringent actions. It is used in neurological disorders. Hülbene is also effective in the treatment of bronchitis, gout, sciatica, and rheumatism. Hülbene has stimulating effects on bone healing. Hülbene helps dysurea, constipation and lumbago, reduces level of blood sugar as well as transient effects in diabetes.

Directions

Take two teaspoonfuls of Hülbene dissolved in hot water or lukewarm water once a d a y. In severe cases, If may be taken twice a d a y.
